Tasting Note

The colour is deep ruby with aromas of dried cherry, raspberry and liquorice which are very expressive and are lifted by a floral note. On the mouth it is concentrated on entry, then continues to open in the mid-palate, with very pronounced black raspberry and floral pastille flavours. Finishes on a spicy note, with good clarity and slow-building tannins.

Food Recommendations

Lovely with roasted meats and strong cheeses. Perfect on a wintery evening.
