Tasting Note

The Morande Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc is an attractive deep golden yellow amber colour. The nose is a lovely blend of crystalized citrus fruits, lemon and orange, with rich papaya, homey, orange peel and raisin and a touch of nuttiness. The palate is very good for this price, with lovely crisp citrus acidity balancing the sumptuous sweetness well. There is dried fruit, candied orange peel and more nuttiness, with sharper fresh orange flesh and a touch of bitterness on the lingering finish.
