The Red Bottle Company

Having been fortunate to spend many years travelling the world's wine areas, California, South Africa, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, not to mention the old world masters, France, Italy, Spain and Germany I have clocked up the miles and the tastings.

As a result of my 'hobby' I have often been asked to advise friends and even a few restaurants of the good value but decent wines that are available at any one time. Sooner or later I was bound to be asked, "well why don't you supply us?"

My son Harry has joined me in setting up the Red Bottle Company. Currently doing his internship from University with Red Bottle, he has recently returned from a year in France, holidaying, wine tasting, working for Champagne Bauget-Jouette, then studying at Ecole de Management de Normandie in Caen.

Together we welcome you to our very own wine company and hope that we can help you discover and enjoy the world of wine as much as we do.

OUR IDEA IS SIMPLE...

We attend many wine tastings (trade, vineyard and private) per year in the search for good honest wine that makes us smile when we drink it
We have trade accounts with various importers and access to more
We have agreements with wineries and vineyards in France and Spain to represent them and import their wines into the UK
We have access to information regarding the wines we choose and pass some of that on to help you enjoy the wine and further your own knowledge

From the quality suppliers we have at our disposal we have a huge range of wines to offer, however at The Red Bottle Company you will find that number whittled down to just a few wines that we think will particularly represent the style that they are supposed to and are our pick of what is around that best represents a good wine at a fair price.
